Pump looks good, honestly a little better than I expected for the $30 price I compensated. Has steel metal pulley (not black as in Amazon's pictures) and it includes the thermostat gasket (rubber ring) plus a fiber-based gasket for the pump housing itself. Pump utilizes a cast iron impeller and machining looks good. Box says new, so I assume it is not a remanufactured element. No reason to complain thus far, but of course I won't be able to for sure until it runs for 100K plus miles without a problem. I gave it 4 stars as a replacement for of 5 since I have read on some Toyota forums that the OEM pumps now have a metal gasket, which perhaps does a better job of sealing. If you are a Toyota purist you may want to research that. - Mike Nagy
