No tribulations here, fit was perfect for WRX. My only gripe was that the built-in gasket was a cheap document gasket, the factory gasket is a coated aluminium gasket. For $3 I went and bought the factory gasket and used that instead of the provided one, soothe way cheaper than buying the factory fill up pump.

My pump arrived early fit perfect, no leaks and the car is up and running. I read on review that they did not like the gasket but it works well . Great pump!

I was disbelieving not getting an OEM Subaru part, but knew Gates was a reputable first name.It was packaged well, all products were new, and the casting on the pump was good. Instructions were easy to follow as well. It fit perfectly without any modification needed. Have put 7k miles on it so far including no problems.
