I've been using a Flex-a-lite fan with the "Probe in Fin" category feeler for numerous being. I just installed a new metal reservoir radiator and had a bung soldered in so with the intention of I could use this 32050 develop. This element provides greatly extra accurate and established readings than the fin probe category. If you be inflicted with an aluminum radiator lacking a bung, there are plenty of aluminum bungs available all over the internet. If you want to bed in it in a traditional brass radiator, locating brass bungs can be a challenge. I found approximately on eBay. Might want to check with your community radiator shop too. Definately a good investment/upgrade for your Flex-a-lite fan. You can leave your fin feeler in place to use as a back up too if this one ever gives you any issues.

ScotchThis is a best way to measure coolant temp. Would be nice if the wire were just a tad longer for the way I wanted to send the wires but it's easy to splice a modest more wire to the end.
